Heard Ms. A. Debbarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. S.S. Dey, learned Advocate General assisted by Ms. A. Chakraborty, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-contemnors.
It is seen from the record that the contempt case has already been admitted on 11.10.2023 and when the matter is directed to be listed today, the contemnors are called absent.
However learned Advocate General has made a request on behalf of the respondents indicating that he would see that the order passed by this Court either they would be complied with as well under contempt rules, respondent-contemnors will be present before this Court for moving appropriate application, as advised.
As requested, list the matter on 23.11.2023 for the personal appearance of the respondents-contemnor at 10.30 A.M. before this Court. Registry is directed to furnish a copy of this Order to the learned Advocate General for necessary action in the course of the day.
