In this Writ Petition (PIL), the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-

a) Issue a writ direction or order in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent State of Uttarakhand to constitute an inquiry into the capability and procedural correctness of the current administrators of the 108 Ambulance services to provide emergency medical care.

b) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the respondent State ensure that Emergency Medical Trainees, having the requisite training and capability to administer emergency medical care are stationed inside ambulances.

c) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the State of Uttarakhand to look into the several deaths, accidents and anomalies that have taken place due to the changes in the 108 service provider.

d) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the State of Uttarakhand to empathetically consider the human plight of seven hundred Emergency Medical Trainees who have been ousted and have no livelihood.

e) Issue any suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts circumstances of the case may kindly be passed.

f) And to pass any other in interest of justice, equity and good conscience.

It is apparent from the record that none of the prayers made in this Writ Petition (PIL) survive, as the circumstances have changed.

Accordingly, the present Writ Petition (PIL) is dismissed as infructuous.

In sequel thereto, all pending applications also stand disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this judgment be granted to the learned counsel for the parties, on proper application.
