Judgment
T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The petitioner has completed his 8th Semester B.Tech Course in Civil Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Kannur. He is aggrieved by the delay in publishing the result of revaluation of his 8th Semester B.Tech Examination in Industrial Management (CE 2K 801) and Construction Engineering and Quantity Surveying (CE 2K 804). The petitioner applied for revaluation of the above papers on 2.9.2010 by remitting prescribed fee. Exts.P2 and P2(a) are the true copies of the application submitted by the petitioner and the cash remittance receipt. Herein, the main prayer is for a direction to the University to complete the revaluation as sought for in Ext.P2 application, within a period of two weeks.
Heard learned Standing Counsel for the University. It is submitted that sufficient time may be granted to complete the revaluation and inform the result to the petitioner.
There will be a direction to the University to complete the revaluation and inform the result to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, if the application and the payment of fee are in order and if the petitioner has complied with all other formalities.
The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
