The petitioner is seeking addition of offences under Sections 417, 420 and 120-B IPC in the FIR No.84 dated 10.10.2018 registered under Section

498-A IPC at Police Station Women Police Station, Chandigarh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that although in the inquiry it was found that the offences under Sections 417, 420 and 120-B IPC are

made out but the same have not been added in the FIR.

Issue notice to the official respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Rajiv Sharma, APP for U.T. Chandigarh accepts notice and upon instruction from SI Satnaryan Singh contends that

the investigation has been completed and the challan shall be filed within two weeks from now.

Heard.

The petitioner is seeking addition of the offences under Sections 417, 420 and 120-B IPC. The investigation has been completed and the challan will

be filed within two weeks. It would not be appropriate for this Court to exercise jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. at this stage.

In the event of the petitioner having any grievance, he would be at liberty to approach the trial Court in accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed of with aforesaid liberty.
