1.

The only prayer in this petition is for a direction to the respondent to take a decision on the post confirmation petition dated 8 August 2025 preferred by the petitioner.

2.

Though the respondents were under the impression, as they submit, that the petition has not been received in the office of the Director General, Mr. Sheel has pointed out from Annexure P-8 to the petitioner that it was officially forwarded. It is now for the respondent to ensure that the petition is dealt with.

3.

Accordingly, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent to take a decision on the post confirmation petition of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today.

4.

The decision, as and when taken, shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith. Should the petitioner continue to remain aggrieved, the rights of the petitioner to challenge the decision, in accordance with law, would remain reserved.

5.

The petition is allowed.
