Mr. Shah, learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondent – State submits that due compliance of the order, non-compliance whereof has been alleged, has been made and actual payment has been made to one of the petitioners.

He submits that as five of the petitioners have since been retired, certain formalities are required to be done, which can only be done on receiving service books of the petitioners.

3.

It is assured that the requisite payment shall be made to the petitioners within a period of three months from today. The photocopy of the orders dated 16.05.2023 and 02.06.2023 placed for Court’s perusal are taken on record.

4.

In view of the submission so made, the notices of contempt are, hereby, discharged.

5.

The contempt petition stands disposed of for statistical purposes.

6.

Needless to observe that if any of the grievance of the petitioner(s) still persists, they shall be free to move an application for revival of the present contempt petition or file fresh contempt petition.
