Judgment
S. Siri Jagan, J.—The Petitioner in this writ petition entered Government service after putting in prior military service. For the purpose of granting of higher grade he wants the military service also to be taken into account. According to him, he is so entitled to, in view of Exts.P7 to P9 and P11 to P13 judgments of this Court as also Exts.P10, P14 and P15 orders passed pursuant to those judgments. In the above circumstances, the Petitioner has filed Exts.P16 representation before the 2nd Respondent. The Petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd Respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P16 representation in the light of Exts.P7 to P9 and P11 to P13 judgments and Exts.P10, P14 and P15 orders passed pursuant to those judgments expeditiously.
I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 2nd Respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P16 representation as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While passing orders, the second Respondent shall consider the applicability of Exts.P7 to P9 and P11 to P13 judgments as also Exts.P10, P14 and P15 orders to the facts of the Petitioner''s case.
