Judgment
Anoop Chitkara, J
Learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners are the descendants of their common ancestor deceased Jaishi Ram, son of Shri
Madhu Sudan, who was the Mohtmim of Thakran Shree Brij Raj Swami Mandir, Nurpur, District Kangra, H.P. Now, after his death, the respondents
have constituted a Committee to look after the affairs of the temple. The prayer of the petitioners is that any of them may be appointed as Mohtmim
of the temple. In this regard, they have already made detailed representations dated 4.8.2020 and 8.1.2021 (Annexure P/1 colly), which are still
pending before the authorities concerned.
Notice. Mr. Anil Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General appears and accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
In view of the nature of the order, this Court proposes to pass, no response is required from the respondents.
Consequently, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations dated 4.8.2020 and 8.1.2021 (Annexure
P/1 colly) of the petitioners, in accordance with law and in the light of the Transfer Policy occupying the field, and pass appropriate orders, within two
weeks.
