Heard Mr. A.V. Palshikar, learned AGP, appearing for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, Mr. B.M. Kharkate, learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 3, and Mr. M.B. Turankar, learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 4.

The challenge is to the orders dated 14.10.2016 and 17.11.2016 issued by Respondent No. 1, by which the inquiry initiated against Respondent No. 4 was stayed.

The counsel for Respondent No. 3 submits that Respondent No. 4 has now retired. He further submits that Respondent No. 3-School is closed.

That being so, nothing survives in the petition.
