Judgment
This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayers:
“(I) To issue a writ in the nature mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction to the first and second respondents to further direct the
third respondent to allow the petitioners to participate in the upcoming selection to the post of Veterinary Surgeon Grade II in the Animal Husbandry
Department to be conducted by the third respondent irrespective of they do not have the qualification;
(II) To issue writ in the nature mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction to the first and second respondents to further direct the third
respondent to defer the publication of the notification for the selection to the post of Veterinary Surgeon Grade II in the Animal Husbandry
Department;
(III) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to the first and second respondents to consider Exhibits P9 and P10
and till then the third respondent shall not publish any notification to the selection to the post of Veterinary Surgeon Grade II in the Animal Husbandry
Department;
(IV) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to the third respondent to allow the petitioners to participate in the
upcoming selection to the post of Veterinary Surgeon Grade II in the Animal Husbandry Department.â€
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the PSC as well as the learned Standing Counsel
appearing for the respondent-University.
It is submitted by the respondent-University that the results of the examination taken by the petitioners have been announced and provisional
certificates have also been issued to enable them to undergo and complete the internships.
In the above view of the matter, I am of the opinion that no further orders can be passed in this writ petition by this Court. If the petitioners have any
further grievances, it is for them to approach the appropriate forum. This writ petition is therefore closed, leaving open the contentions of the
petitioners.
