Judgment
This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode.
It is contended that in spite of removing all the deficiencies pointed out, the authorities have yet arbitrary and with the mala fide intention directed the Petitioner-Institution to be placed under "No Admission" Category for the Academic Year-2021-22. That apart also directed 25% reduction in the sanctioned intake for the next Academic Year-2022-23.
We prima-facie find that the action of the Standing Appellate Committee of the AICTE to be whimsical and highhanded.
Issue notice for 09-December-2021.
Mr. Bikash Jena, learned Standing Counsel appears and waives notice on behalf of the AICTE/Opposite Party Nos. 1 to 3 and Mr. Manoj Khuntia, learned AGA appears and waives notice on behalf of Opposite Party No. 4.
Let requisite number of copies of the writ petition be furnished to the learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
Since admittedly, there are no deficiencies of the essential norms, we direct and permit the Petitioner-Institution to join further process of the admission for the Academic Year 2021-22 as per the revised schedule notified by the AICTE.
