Judgment
Heard learned Advocate General for the respondents.
An affidavit has been filed by the Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Power Department, Government of Tripura inter alia stating that the Power Department had created 31(thirty one) posts of Junior Driver for Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited [TSECL, for short], and has also framed and issued Recruitment Rules for the post of Junior Driver, Driver and Senior Driver, which were also published in the Tripura Gazette on 20.11.2025.
It is stated that necessary documents including the Recruitment Rules have been duly sent to TSECL empowering the latter to proceed with the promotional process as per the established rules and regulatory framework.
It is further stated that the TSECL is competent and authorized to undertake and complete the promotional process for the concerned posts in accordance with the Recruitment Rules published in the Tripura Gazette.
Senior counsel for the TSECL Mr. Bibhal Nandi Majumder states that further steps would be initiated by the TSECL to conduct the promotional process as per the notified Rules framed by the Power Department vide notification dt.20.11.2025.
