Amandeep Singh vs State of Punjab

Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.—Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, namely, Amandeep Singh, son of Jaspal Singh, resident of village Jattana, Tehsil Chamkaur Sahib, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 148, 323, 324, 326, 341 and 427 read with Section 149, IPC, in FIR No. 30, dated 6.3.2012, registered at Police Station, Morinda, District Ropar. Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Balwant Singh of Police Station, Morinda, District Ropar, submits that in compliance of the order dated 19.10.2012, the petitioner has joined the investigation and no more required for any other purpose.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 19.10.2012, whereby ad-interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner, is made absolute. He shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions laid down u/s 438(2), Cr.P.C.
