By way of this writ petition filed in the year 2009, the petitioner sought a direction to the respondents to provide employment to him, who is the only adopted son of Jamal Bhat, whose landholding has been acquired for Railway Project to the extent of 100% against any appropriate post.
The petitioner was aged 34 years at the time of filing of the instant writ petition and today he is 45 years.
There was no appearance on behalf of the parties when the matter was lastly listed on 27th November, 2013. None appeared for the petitioner on 29th August, 2019, when the adverse order were deferred in the interest of justice.
Mr. Javaid Iqbal, learned Sr. AAG, who appears in the matter informed this court that subsequent orders have been passed for abolishing the scheme regarding the appointment against the acquisition of land.
No relief can be granted to the petitioner.
None appears for the petitioner, when the matter is called out today
In view of the above, the instant writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
