Heard Mr. B. Sahoo, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. S.S. Pradhan, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for the State.
This is an appeal under Section 14 of S.C. & S.T. (POA) Amendment Act, challenging the order dated 07.06.2021 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge -cum- Special Court (under POCSO Act), Sambalpur in connection with Dhama P.S. Case No.26 of 2021 corresponding to Special G.R. Case No.14 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge -cum-Special Court (under POCSO Act), Sambalpur for commission of offences punishable under Sections 366/376(2)(n)/376(3)/506 /109 of the I.P.C. read with Sections 6/17 of the POCSO Act and Sections 3(1)(w)(ii)/3(2)(v)(r) of the SC & ST (PA) Act, 2018.
Mr. B. Sahoo, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the petitioner does not want to press the Criminal Appeal as he intends to move the learned Court below for bail afresh and he shall file a memo to that effect.
The CRLA is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
