Heard Mr. S. Desai, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D. Pangam, learned Advocate General along with Mr. S. Pirolkar, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for the respondent no.3.

There shall be interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b) subject to the petitioner depositing compensation of the amount of Rs.29,000/- in this Court within four weeks from today. If the amount is deposited the same shall be invested in Nationalised Bank.

Mr. Priolkar, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate waives service on rule on behalf of the respondent no. 3.

At the suggestion of the Court, learned counsel for the parties agreed that the matter could be referred to mediation to explore the possibility of settlement. Accordingly, Mr. Vishnuprasad Lawande is requested to mediate in the matter and to endeavour to submit a report within two months from the date he enters mediation. The learned Counsel for the parties states that they will furnish a copy of this order to Mr. Lawande and obtain suitable dates from him for the purpose of mediation.
