The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to defreeze the petitioner’s 46 bank accounts maintained with respondents 2 to 7.
Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who takes notice for the first respondent, submitted that though the petitioner claims that 46 of his accounts have been frozen, the fact remains that the first respondent has frozen only six accounts. He has produced the details of those six accounts and a scanned copy of the same is reproduced hereunder:-
Mr.C.Mohan, learned counsel representing M/s.King & Partridge, learned counsel on record takes notice for respondents 3 to 7.
Mr.Abudu Kumar Rajaratnam, learned Senior Advocate, seeks permission to file impleading application.
Notice to the second respondent returnable by 08.01.2026. Private notice is also permitted.
Post the matter on 08.01.2026 for filing of the impleading application and counter affidavit.
