P.V.Kunhikrishnan, J

1.

The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

“(i) to issue a writ or certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, calling for the records leading to the issuance of the order evidenced by Ext.P5 and to quash Ext.P5.

(ii) to declare that the Industrial Tribunal has no jurisdiction to adjudicate upon the dispute regarding correction of date of birth of 5 workmen pursuant to Ext.P1 in view of the agreement dated 4.9.2008 evidenced by Ext.P4.

(iii) to grant any other appropriate writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to pass in the facts and circumstances of the case.”[SIC]

2.

The main prayer in this writ petition is against Ext.P5 interim order passed by the Industrial Tribunal, Palakkad. Ext.P5 is an order passed in I.D.No.64/2008. No interim order is passed in this writ petition. This writ petition is pending before this Court from 2009 onwards. Moreover, the workmen involved in Ext.P5 is already retired. In such circumstances, the prayers in this writ petition might have been infructuous.

Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed.
