The main petition had earlier been disposed of by this Court on 7th October, 2021 permitting the Petitioner to withdraw the petition in order to comply with Rule 8 of the Orissa High Court Public Interest Litigation Rules, 2010.
This application has been filed for recall of the above order dated 7th October, 2021 on the ground that there are subsequent developments which necessitate the Petitioner having to seek urgent orders on the basis of the earlier writ petition filed.
The order passed by the Supreme Court of India on 29th October, 2021 in I.A. No.44727 of 2021 in W.P.(C) No.728 of 2015 (Arjun Gopal v. Union of India), governs the issue concerning green firecrackers that have been permitted to be used during festival seasons, subject to conditions incorporated in the said order. There is no occasion for this Court to issue any further directions. Consequently, this Court does not consider it necessary to recall the earlier order passed.
The I.A. is dismissed.
