Judgment
31.01.2025: Counsel for the Respondent/Contemnor has handed over the affidavit (dated 29.01.2025) of the respondent in court today, in which he has made the following averments:
“3. I say that in due compliance of the aforesaid order/judgment dated 1.3.2024, I have paid the said cost of Rs. 1 Lakh to the Petitioner /Financial Creditor, as follows:
i. Rs. 50,000/- vide UPI Ref. No. 435482994288 on 19.12.2024 at 11:13 AM to the bank account of the Petitioner / Financial Creditor maintained with M/s ICICI Bank ending 3652 (this transaction was effected through my counsel due to limit on UPI transactions);
ii. Rs. 50,000/- vide UPI Transaction ID: 435427231464 on 19.12.2024 at 11:11 AM to the bank account of the Petitioner / Financial Creditor maintained with M/s ICICI Bank ending 3652”
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nothing survives in this contempt petition for any further order. Hence, this contempt petition is disposed of accordingly. Rule discharged.
