The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 15.05.2025 (Annexure P-6) qua petitioner, issued by the respondent-Bank, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Bhotal Jattan Branch Hansi, Haryana, Chandigarh Zone to Bhavnagar Regional Office, Rajkot Zone, Gujarat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is seeking transfer on the ground that the petitioner has minor daughter and her study would be effected if the petitioner is transferred.

On the last date of hearing, this Court orally requested learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 5-bank to seek instructions as to whether the petitioner can be transferred to the place preferred by him.

Today, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 5-bank has filed affidavit dated 16.9.2026 of Sh. Manu Rameshkumar Mittal posted as Deputy General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Rajkot Branch. The same is taken on record. The copy of the same is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner. Registry is directed to tag the same at appropriate place.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to join in Jodhpur Zone falling under Zonal Office, Jodhpur.

In view of the affidavit filed by respondent Nos. 2 to 5, the present petition is dismissed as having become rendered infructuous. The petitioner is directed to join his posting at Jodhpur Zone falling under Zonal Office, Jodhpur within a period of seven days from today.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
