NAVIN CHAWLA, J. (ORAL)

1.

This petition has been filed by the petitioners, challenging the Order dated 12.09.2025 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Tribunal’) in O.A. No. 3483/2025, titled Sachin Kumar & Ors. v. DSSSB, whereby the learned Tribunal directed the respondents to accept the offline application forms pursuant to Advertisement No. 02/2024 dated 31.07.2025, from candidates belonging to the General Category who are 40 years of age or below; the OBC Category who are 43 years of age or below; and candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category who are 45 years of age or below.

2.

On the last date of hearing, that is, 19.09.2025, we recorded the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners that in similar O.As., including O.A. No. 3482/2025, tilted Manish Yadav v. DSSSB, a Coordinate Bench of the learned Tribunal had granted complete Interim relief to the applicants therein for making application without any age limit. We had directed the learned counsel for the respondents to seek instructions on the above submission.

3.

The learned counsel for the respondents has confirmed that the said Interim Order was indeed passed.

4.

In view of the above, and in the interest of maintaining parity among the applicants, we direct that the offline applications of all the applicants in O.A. 3483/2025 shall be accepted by the respondents, however, this shall not create any special equity or right in favour of the applicants. The learned Tribunal shall decide the O.A. on its own merits.

5.

The petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of in above terms.

6.

A copy of this order be given Dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
