Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J.—Writ petition is filed mainly with following prayers:- i) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to take prompt action in processing the case of the petitioner for giving him work charged status/regularization as per the observation of Respondent No. 2 in Annexure P-4.

ii) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to give work charged status/regularization to the petitioner as Forest Worker with all consequential benefits from the due date as per the policy of the State Government, since the petitioner has been working as Forest Worker on daily waged basis with more than 240 days in each calendar year w.e.f. the year 1994 and he has completed his 8 years of service in the year 2001.

The petitioner has submitted Annexure P-6, representation. It is stated that in view of Annexure P-4, the break is liable to be condoned. There will be a direction to the second respondent to look into Annexure P-6 and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, referring also to Annexure P-4. This shall be done within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner before the second respondent.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
