Judgment
IN spite of repeated intimations sent to the complainant by Registered Post calling upon him to appear for the preliminary hearing of this Complaint Petition, it has not been possible to serve the complainant with those notices since on every occasion those notices were returned by the Postal Department unserved with the endorsement "No such person lives there". It may be mentioned that the notices were sent to the very address which the complainant had furnished as correct address in the Original Petition. In the circumstances we are constrained to proceed to dispose of the Original Petition without hearing the Complainant.
WE have gone through the records of the case and we find that the complaint petition does not make out any prima facie case which requires to be investigated by this Commission under the Consumer Protection Act. The allega¬tions contained therein are totally vague and it is not possible to understand how the complainant '' has chosen to value the relief at Rs. 30 lacs. In the circumstances the Original Petition is summarily rejected on the aforesaid ground.
