Judgment
T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The petitioner is a practicing lawyer in Thrissur. The petitioner purchased 4.275 cents of land as per Ext.P1 for constructing an office, etc. near the District Court, Thrissur. Thereafter, he submitted an application for issuing building permit and Ext.P2 is the chalan receipt showing the demand of the above.
The matter is still pending before the Corporation. It appears that under the DTP Scheme, there is a proposal for road widening and accordingly, the petitioner was directed to modify the plan and give an undertaking also. As per Ext.P5, he was directed to submit revised site plan after marking the area proposed for master plan road widening. Thereafter, the petitioner has given an undertaking as per Ext.P6.
In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the Secretary of the Corporation to consider the application for building permit in the light of the undertaking given by the petitioner and other documents produced by the petitioner and take a decision in the matter and communicate it to the petitioner within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
