The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitutioon of India is seeking directionn to respondents to extend him benefits of Asssured Career Progression Scheme (for short ‘ACP Scheme’).
Mr. Gurnoor Singh Sandhu, Advocate submits that on completion of four years service as Sub-Inspeector, the petitioner was entitled to benefits of ACP Scheme. He has not been extended benefits of ACP Scheme without any rhyme and reason.
Mr. Aman Dhir, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab submits that on account of non-preparation of ACR of onne particular year, the petitioner was not extendded benefits of ACP Scheme. He has filed representation dated 28.11.2023 (AAnnexure P-4) and the same is under consideration. The competent authority would pass an appropriate order after considering factual position and mandate of ACP Scheme.
Learned counsel for the petitiioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement
Inn the wake of statement of both sides, the present petition stand disposed of with a direction to respondents to decide representation dated 28.11.2023 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner within three months from today.
