Judgment
By way of this writ petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Panchkula, to regularise their services under the regularization policy notified by the Government of Haryana through its General Administration (General Services-I) Department, vide Notification dated 18.06.2015. It is however an admitted fact that the aforestated regularization policy was struck down by a Division Bench of this Court and the Supreme Court is presently seized of the issue in Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 33265 of 2018, titled 'State of Haryana v. Yogesh Tyagi'.
The interim orders granted by the Supreme Court would only enure to the benefit of those who were already regularised.
That being so, the claim of the petitioners for regularization under a policy which no longer holds the field cannot be countenanced.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed on this short ground, leaving it open to the petitioners to seek such relief in the event the policy stand revived in future.
No order as to costs.
