Admit. Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 3 and 4.
The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to grant One Time Settlement facility to the petitioner taking into consideration that the loan was availed by the petitioner from the 3rd respondent on the basis of a circular issued by the Government, treating the petitioner as a T.B. patient.
The counsel for the 3rd respondent on instructions submits that the One Time Settlement facility has been extended till 15.09.2022 and the request of the petitioner can be considered under the Scheme and granted if the petitioner is entitled to it.
In such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 at the earliest, at any rate, within one week from today so as to facilitate the petitioner to pay off the amounts due under the scheme. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this writ petition and the judgment before the 3rd respondent for compliance.
